About CalmVerio
CalmVerio is a short Sunday letter for people who'd like their week to feel a little slower without giving up on the things they care about. It's written by one editor with occasional guest essays, and arrives in your inbox once a week — never twice.
What you'll find
- One reflection. Around six hundred words on something small from the previous week.
- One small practice. A gentle, optional thing you might try in the coming week.
- One quiet recommendation. A book, a podcast, a recipe, a route, a piece of music — picked carefully, never sold.
- Occasional partner notes. When a brand fits the letter, we'll include a short, clearly-labelled note. It's how the letter stays free.
What you won't find
- No retargeting pixels in the body of the letter.
- No "buy this five-step morning routine" calls to action.
- No engagement tricks. The letter is short and the unsubscribe link is easy to find.
Who reads CalmVerio
Most readers are in their thirties and forties — people who've been online long enough to know the difference between a thoughtful Sunday email and yet another newsletter trying to grow at any cost.
How it's made
Letters are drafted on Friday, edited on Saturday, sent on Sunday morning. We use a small set of boring, reliable tools and host the website on Cloudflare. No advertising trackers, minimal email analytics, and a public archive of every previous letter.
